Dr. Fareesa Khan is a native of the St. Louis area. She was born and raised in St. Louis and attended John Burroughs High School. She attended the University of Missouri in Kansas City for her undergraduate and medical school.
She stayed in Kansas City to complete her 4 year residency at Truman Medical Center/UMKC. After successful completion of her residency, she attended Loyola University for her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery commonly referred to as Urogynecology.
In 2005, Dr. Khan moved back to St. Louis to join the faculty at Washington University School of Medicine in the department of obstetrics and gynecology as an assistant professor of Urogynecology.
Dr. Khan joined Urogynecology Consultants in July 2009. She lives in St. Louis with her husband, two daughters and son.
